The four major structures standing in Florence
You used to be able to go inside this chapel once a year to do baptism, or to watch them, but now you are no longer able to. It was so huge!!!!
One of the famous bridges. I love all the colors, oranges, yellows, reds:) So charming!
We couldn't have been more lucky. We had the most beautiful weather all day! And Florence is divided by this long river, so there is housing and shopping on either side. One side is a bit more "rich" and the other is a bit more "ghetto." But come on, its Italy, so its amazing no matter what:) Such a perfect day!
There were a few men just taking a canoe ride down the river:) ahh! I wish that were me!
He was cruisin:)
:) ignore our cute tour guide necklace speaker things
and yes
H&M is right to the left of this picture:)
Glorious
Glorious
The most old fashioned mary-go-round ever! So fitting.
These doors were made out of brass! They had engravings of 10 different bible stories.
The graffiti in Italy was so illy. A lot cooler than Ogdens...come on now you graffiti artists.
2. Look at the two men arguing
3. Look at the two dogs arguing
4. Bad mix
Just kidding:)
But really.
This guy threw a fit and was cussing all over the place because that hard a** dog of that mofia guy tried beatin up that other dog!
I don't know why I take pictures of these things:)
Narrow, narrow, narrow
This little poodle had been hit by a car three days before and had broken its back leg and one front leg. The owner was sitting outside of a pet shop, waiting to be interviewed to see if she was elligible to have her dog recieve surgery. She was a really poor lady, it was so sad! I wanted to steal the dog!
Innapropriate was more of the word I was looking for.
Wierd wierd wierd
But then came to the realization that we were in Italy, and needed to forget America and take advantage of the Gelato lining all the streets:)
not-a-problemo
Carly...not so much:)
The city of Florence was flooded during the 1500's and those were the different water levels that it stayed at! Insane!
This would be underneath the window of Michelangelo's bedroom:)
This bell tower was used for very cruel things. First of all, the city of Florence is known for loving blood. Anyway, this was at the top of a jail during the midevil times, and many who were jailed ended up being hung from this bell tower for the public and all people to watch. They actually would have reservecd areas for painters and artists to sit and paint or draw these hangings.
Gross
Before they were hung they were able to go into this little room where the flags are seen, to say their last prayers.
this is so ghetto looking ha ha
dads idea
It is so charming that they still have cobblestone roads and walkways, and that they still have horse drawn carriages. Its like nothing you ever would imagine. So unlike America.
:) you will begin to notice my obsession with dogs if you don't know me already:)
Seriously?
What in the heck is this!!!!!?
Ewww
eww
lunatic sculpter
roaming the streets of Florence...
most of the time they are wearing really cool clothes.
This was a fake gypsy I swear
Cool facts though
He has a crack in his right knee cap that they are monitering right now because it may crack even worse eventually and they may not let the public view it anymore. They have know idea when and if they will stop letting the public view him, but how sad if it were to collapse!
Also, in WWII they built a huge brick dome around him incase it were to get bombed, they had hopes that they could save this statue. Thank goodness it didn't!:)
Our tour guide also pointed out to us that he is not circumsized.
for real?
We did not need to know that.
She knew exactly what she was doing,
making us all look at his jewels.
Like we don't already think the pubic hair on those statues is freaking wierd enough!?
ha ha
geezz...people
Now picture a mini van,
and shrink it to smaller than a mini cooper
And Wha-La!
That is what you get:)
plus lighting
and thunder
Not to mention the cobblestone roads have the worst draining systems
=
flooded roads
new shoes from Sienna

well not really,
but i was nervous
And then we were off to The Leaning Tower of Pisa!!
And the 4 hour bus ride that no one informed us about:/
Meeting men from Kenya!
They seriously had the most beautiful skin, it was the darkest skin I have ever seen.
I want it.
I'm adopting a baby from Kenya one day.
I have a for real crush on him.
We crossed through a really poor, dirty area on our way into Pisa. It was really sad and smelt so bad. I'm so grateful for what I have.
Family pic in front of the leaning tower:)
they couldn't help it, they couldn't see us...
gosh i'm terrible
you better watch it.
What a women
Finally put that booty to work
ha ha
just teasin:)
As we were leaving, my boyfriend and his tribal pack followed us out to the bus asking us to buy purses or "bling bling" from them. They were selling this cheap prada bags for like $40.00. No way jose. But don't you worry bout a thing. I ended up buying getting 3 bags, each for $12.00 for my friends on the bus. Thats what happens when you have boyfriends. You get benefits:)
He called me his "fine lady" and asked my mom if he could have me. ha ha Look how dark he is!!!!!!!??? It was soooo amazing. I want his skin!:)
he blew me a kiss as he watched us drive away.
Ah:)
Kenya is my next stop
