Rome Take 2

Some creepy woman staring at our tour group walk to the Vatican City..

The famous dome inside the Vatican City tour...mum and dad:)

Mom and carly are obviously lovers in this picture:)

I would act like I know what this huge gold ball is, but I can't remember what the tour guide said it was. But I do know it was in the center of the city!

It would spin around:)

Shmile:)

As we were touring inside one of the famous chapels, we were able to catch a glimpse of a couple getting married! Can you imagine how much that wedding cost?...

I feel like Romans were on drugs when they sculped sometimes...wierd!!

K, so I wasn't supposed to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel, but...obviously I do what I want:) check this out... the painted guy at the top of the picture looks like 3D, that he is like hanging off of the ceiling. I seriously stared at this for so long. I couldn't believe it was just flat paint. Michelagngelo was a trip.

More illegal photos of the Sistine

Look how many freaking tourists there are?! utter CHAOS

Outside the Vatican!

Mary and Jesus..This picture does not even give that sculpture the credit it deserves. Soooo incredible.

Rubbing his toe for good luck:)

Boyfriend #1.
A guard in front of the Vatican.
Switzerland boy.
Blondie.
Amazing bright blue eyes.
mmmmm....
He takes his job seriously.
We like men who have jobs too:)
Carly and I seriously want him. And will find him and marry him:) Polygamy:)

Mom and dad "people watching"

The Pantheon. Under construction too:/

This dome, and this hole, was soooooo unreal! I thought it was cool up untill I learned it was for the smoke to go out of for when they did animal sacrifices...:(

Michelangelo studied this dome to further his knowledge on how to build such a strong dome. Its still standing after 2000 years!!

Because of the hole in the ceiling. They were even smart enough to put holes in the marble floors for the rain to drain through! So smart:)

Strange fountains in Rome.

Yep.

The face of a dead hungry woman.
The face of 90 degree weather
The face of our mom was walking 50 miles an hour
Carlys classic hungry mug
I was scared

Foooood:)

Trevi Fountains in the day time! Looking for some more Gelato...

In our opinions..."Worlds Best Gelato." And you should ask us, becuase believe us when we tell you that we tasted all the gelato in Italy. By far THE best Gelato ever. Only in Rome:)

The Spanish Steps. These were built when the spanish came to Rome and tried to build up an empire! There were so many steps!

ha ha, we think we're cute

Rome was so magical at night. We went to this Horse Track Square where they used to have horse races hundreds of years ago on these cobblestone tracks, and now they use the center of the track for markets and live concerts and all sorts of fun things! There were restaurants and gelato shops lining the track everywhere. One of my favorite experiences so far.

prep shot.. ha ha

ha ha :) you should have seen all the chinese people staring at us. Who'd of guessed that so many chinese people would chose to come to Rome? Is that wierd that I thinkt that's wierd? ha ha whatevs

Never make fun of me for saying this again. It was all over Rome. You know who you are. ha ha:)

The love birds walking the streets of Rome.

Breathtaking.

Gross. They really shouldn't do this.

Warning. This is what happens when you don't know how to ask where a bathroom is in italian. Learn the language before you go. ha ha ha

Mom and dad wanted us to go on the European trip to bond with one another. This is what they get:)
I hope it brightens your day...
Rome day 2 was hot, tiring, but had such a perfect end.
Goodbye Rome.
