One of the landmarks in Roma! And also one of the biggest chapels too! I mainly liked it because it was the first place I saw a legit gypsy begger:) I'm terrible.
This entire chapels cieling was covered in gold leaf. It seriously hurt your eyes to look at it! A good hurt you know? So beautiful!bling blingin it:)
The biggest stained glass window I have ever set my eyes on. So preeety!!

The Colliseum!
Future husbands. Don't mind me trying to flex. . ha ha for some reason i forgot i had a water bottle in my hand.
:D
It was so midevil with all the horses just prowling around outside the colliseum. They had those eye blocker things, I can't think of the name of them, but they would block them from looking to the side.. whatevs, but in rough english they said "watch out, bite your hand off." Like do they think americans are dumb? We may be a more obese nation, but come one now, we all know we got the brains out of all ya'll. no doubt
I just thought he was a handsom bird. Very picturesque don't you say?
This is the only section saved of the actual benches of marble that spectators would come and sit on to watch the events!
These tunnels were once covered by the stage that was covered in sand, but the tunnels were where they would keep the lions and crazy animals and also where they'd stick slaves to tame them. Racism.
goodness, we learned that the Colliseum was used for animal sacrifices in the mornings, be-headings in the afternoon, and Gladiator fights in the evening. Blood, blood, and some more blood!
Family pic in front of the Colliseum! First cold drink we'd bought. What is up with Italians and warm water? Not cool.
I wanted his mask so bad.
This would be the prison where the Apostle Paul and Peter were inprisoned and then hung to death. Creepy, but cool to think they were standing behind those doors at some point.
This is Rome's "white house" you could call it. It was where Mussolini would speak to Rome! All the political stuff went down here.
Peace:)
Meet Moses. This would be Michelangelo's very fist sculpture in this run down chapel between some alleyways in Rome. Crazy!
This is a shout out to Lindsey, I know you'll appreciate. You may or may not be able to read that store sign,.. but you watch, I will be working there one day:) Gipsy Travels!
Does this not look like gourmet dog food you buy in a can? eww. whatevs

Our first taste of Italian!....= blah :/ not so good. But! We did get to listen to a live violin solo as we ate:) So romantic. Don't hate on our friends:)
Seriously.. no one knows, actually many of you may know who have had to live with her, or taken her out for ice cream, that carly is not happy untill she gets her ice cream. You would not believe the difference in her mood minutes before this picture was taken. She has problems.
Ha, so after being a die hard Baskin Robbins fan, I've truly been converted to Gelato.

We decided that we are going to get Gelato at least 2 times a day untill we leave Italy. Lunch and Dinner. Why not?
The beautiful Trevi Fountains!!!
You can tell me and carly are really thinking hard about our wishes....mom's clueless as always.
Cute:)
This was taken some moments after a itsy bitsy mexican man gave carly, myself and my mom red roses for free! We asked him over and over again if they really were for free and he continued to say "yes yes of course! bella bella!" Then we watch him walk away, over to my father, telling my father they were free for the beautiful women, but the man needed to pay for them. Dad got angry, ...well as mad as dad can get. Then mom felt violated and wanted to get back to our hotel. ha ha you can tell my parents have not been to mexico lately.
At the end of day 1, the expression on Carly's face tells it all. Exhausted, grossed out, in love with Rome, ready to shower, and ready for day numero dos...
Bonnanote:)
Stay tuned, there is much much more to come. Wi-fi is ghetto over here:) Be patient!!!
